Ayumi Age and Student Protection Policy
Version: October 2026
Ayumi, operated by Gloop Media LLC, is designed primarily for high-school students exploring their futures after graduation.
Because many users are minors, we believe it is important to explain our age requirements and how we approach student safety and privacy.
1. Minimum Age
You must be at least 13 years old to create an Ayumi account.
Ayumi is not intended for children under 13.
If we learn that someone under 13 has registered, we will take appropriate steps to restrict their access and delete information collected from them, consistent with applicable law.
2. Students Ages 13–17
Students under 18 are encouraged to discuss significant educational, career, financial, and personal decisions with a parent, guardian, counselor, or another trusted adult.
Where applicable law requires parental or guardian authorization for particular activities or processing, Ayumi will need to obtain that authorization before providing those activities.
Ayumi is intended to support student decision-making, not replace parental guidance or qualified educational counseling.
3. Protection of Student Information
We seek to collect only information reasonably relevant to understanding a student's goals, interests, abilities, preferences, and circumstances.
Students should avoid providing highly sensitive personal information, including Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, medical records, or immigration documents.
We do not sell student personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
We do not disclose an identifiable student's profile to schools, employers, training providers, or other opportunity providers without appropriate authorization.
4. AI-Generated Guidance
Ayumi uses artificial intelligence to communicate with students and help identify relevant opportunities.
AI-generated recommendations may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be treated as guaranteed admissions, employment, financial, or other outcomes.
Students should verify important facts and seek appropriate human guidance before making significant commitments.
5. Student Control and Consequential Actions
Ayumi is designed to help students explore options without requiring them to make immediate commitments.
Expressing interest in an opportunity does not constitute an application, enrollment, acceptance, or binding commitment.
Sharing identifiable information with outside opportunity providers or taking consequential actions on a student's behalf requires appropriate authorization.
6. Questions, Privacy Requests, and Assistance
Students and, where legally appropriate, parents or legal guardians may contact us regarding account access, privacy, data correction, or deletion requests.
We may need to verify identity and legal authority before fulfilling certain requests.
